The best keypad Nokia has produced?

Having recently acquired the Nokia E72 I started to realise that the nokia E63 is probably the best keypad of all the phones I have tried from the N series and E series phones. Even though the E72 is newer and manages to squeeze the best of both the E63 and E71 predecessors as well as solving the antenna problem that some E71s were suffering from, the E63 keypad for me seems to be better. What do you think? have you tried both phones?

  2. oh yea.. i agree... e63 so far the best keypad for me too. only a subtle difference at first glance between the e71 and e63, but once u start typing long emails for awhile, you can type with eyes closed and still feel the pads.

  3. Hey there. Nice blog you've got on the E63. I found that a lot of people visit your blog as a one stop shop for the E63. I just wrote a quick guide on being able to change the volume on the Nokia Internet Radio, which basically a lot of people complain that they cannot. I'd appreciate it if you could link to the article and further help folks who have a E63

  4. Yes, I even choose E63 prior to E71, because I tested the keypads in shop and E63's keypad was better for me and I hate chrome decorated phones too, E63 is more matte.

  5. have to disagree here ... after some time I still prefer a numeric keypad. Fiddly dinky winky qwerty may work for those hunt-n-pickers who two finger type on their real key boards but if I'm going to use two thumbs its both thumbs up for any numeric keypad. Predictive text works quite well and it doesn't take a genius to figure out which words are going to give you grief and work around them in parts.

try doing it with one hand and not looking.

  6. now take it to the next level and try a QWERTY on a touch screen phone! How irritating is that and yet people tell me that they get used to typing quite fast on those as well. Its just a matter of adjusting
