Free calls 3 to Vodafone and Vodafone to 3
In Australia, the announcement has been made that 3 and Vodafone customers can call each other for as much as they want for FREE! This will officially start at the end of July however, users have reported that this seems to already be in place (can someone confirm?) Three stores will also stock Vodafone products as each store will be rebranded to reflect the merger between the two mobile powerhouses. The new name for the company will be VHA.

How do you view your SIP setup in Fring?
Here is a question that has been baffling me for almost a week. I set up my E63 to use my ISP's VOIP connection (iiNET Australia) but I can't remember the settings so I can set it up as well on my Nokia E72. The only thing Fring allows you to do is reset your SIP settings and re-register it again. When you can't even remember how you set it up in the first place, the last thing you want to do is reset the settings.
Alternatively, anyone here used their E series phone for VOIP via their ISP? If you are with iiNET, what settings (and what program) did you use? Feel free to include your ISP's settings as well in the comments field for the benefit of others.

How to E63 to computer via bluetooth
Almost every computer nowadays will have a bluetooth connection but there are some that do not come with one. We recently purchased a lenovo which was a core 2 duo, 4gb RAM, Windows7 but did not have bluetooth compatibility. For those of you who are in the same category or your bluetooth device has broken down, DealExtreme has a bluetooth adapter going for only USD$1.58 which is very cheap considering postage is included in that price to anywhere in the world! You can find it here and no, I don't get commission on this purchase. Just like to help a fellow user out.

@n900 compatibility with PC suite a lil disappointing, no notification of incoming calls, incoming msg or battery level. Cant compose smsMon May 24 2010 11:16:06 (W. Australia Standard Time) via web
#n900 In dialing mode, you can also go to the contacts list, with helpful "shortcuts" on the side such as A-C, D-F to reduce scrollingMon May 24 2010 11:00:51 (W. Australia Standard Time) via web

Nokia E63 users range from professional to teenybopper
Over the year that this blog has been up, its been really interesting to realise that the Nokia E63 is one of the most popular devices, appealing to such a range of users with its affordability, features, functionality and well sometimes its simply because it looks "pretty". What was your reason and what kind of user do you consider yourself to be? Introduce yourself and tell us what you do, where you're from and why E63?
