Hey. I'm from Malaysia & 21years old.
ReplyDeleteCurrently I'm studying in Diploma of IT (Programming)
As Everyone knows Nokia E series phones are all business phones, which are quite expensive. The E63 is a tablet shape with a front-facing QWERTY keyboard and a 2.4-inch display and is a plastic-covered device, it is slightly heavier weight about 126g, making it more comparable to a Blackberry Curve or Palm Treo Pro. Apart from that other goodies includes the 320-by-240-pixel (QVGA) screen which offers great visibility in indoor and outdoor conditions and most nice thing is that its refresh rate seems a touch faster than what I'm used to with my Nokia N95.
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteyes, I'm one of your readers. I bought an E63 and mainly like it. I would probably ditch it for an E52 if I could get one of the Optus ones rather than the (predominately) telstra 850Mhz ones.
I like the phone, but after using the E52 prefer it for:
* better email integration
* better bluetooth integration
* numeric keys (I type faster that way)
* slimmer
* turned in landscape feels tiny in your hands
* better maps (including better spelling of street names)
* inclusion of compass (which orients maps for you in a way that BT GPS does not)
I have a question for you , when I power off my E63 the apps that were installed on the micro SD drop off. To get them back I have to remove and re-insert the SD card ... annoying actually. Is there any way around this?
Hi Anonymous, never encountered this problem as I always save my apps on the phone itself rather than the memory card. seems like a hardware fault on your phone which you can take back to Nokia Care centre.

a quick interesting view of that as per million of the countries listed above
ReplyDeletecountry E63 pop per million pop

Brazil 68 194,946,470 0.35
New Zealand 63 4,367,800 14.42
would seem to put Australia and NZ high in ranking. Clearly India and Australia have different phone use per person to say Brazil or India (heaps more poverty there).
Oh, thought I'd do a correction on that data to account for population and phone users per population
