Almost every computer nowadays will have a bluetooth connection but there are some that do not come with one. We recently purchased a lenovo which was a core 2 duo, 4gb RAM, Windows7 but did not have bluetooth compatibility. For those of you who are in the same category or your bluetooth device has broken down, DealExtreme has a bluetooth adapter going for only USD$1.58 which is very cheap considering postage is included in that price to anywhere in the world! You can find it here and no, I don't get commission on this purchase. Just like to help a fellow user out.

Hi
ReplyDeleteI have one of these, and Windows 7 don´t recongnize itself... On Vista it was ok, but on Seven, I think there are some incompatibilities with Windows + Ovi + Bluesoleil...
I only have success with a Trendnet driver (TBW-106UB) that have a simple Bluesoleil version with it.
By precaution, I DEACTIVATED all automatic updating of this Bluesoleil version, and Ovi App too... There are some strange related errors on E63 firmware on last weeks.

ReplyDeleteThanks for such a beautiful and informative blog. I'm having problems with my Nokia Maps. After updating to 22-10-2009 the Nokia maps aren't working. I even downloaded the Ovi Maps Uploader from Maps.Ovi.Com but it stays on forever saying ' Gathering more information about the device ' and does nothing. I checked on Nokia Forums, Other people are also having the same issue after updating their firmware like me. Any solution?
Thanks
Hi, I just happened to bump into your blog, and I was wondering if you could help me.
ReplyDeleteI've just installed a few games on my e63, but they've all been setup for using a conventional numerical keypad instead of the QWERTY. so i have to hold the function key + the corresponding number key to play. is there a "num lock" equivalent on the e63? I also have the same problem when sending an sms to numbers that are not in my contact list. any ideas?
cheers.
press the function key twice and the keyboard will be locked to the numbers
